ADULT TEAM

Adult Team is for members (18+) looking to improve their climbing skills in a coached, supportive, and community-based environment. Just like our youth teams, you will meet with the same teammates each week to work through a warmup, drills, and training plan. Our coaches will meet you where you’re at and alter your drills based on your skill level and individual goals. Adult Team is a place for you to push yourself, find community, and have fun. It can be as intensive and grade-driven as you would like it to be. At this time, there are no tryouts for the Adult Team, nor is there minimum time commitment. Whether you’re working on your first V2 or chasing down a V10, we hope to see you at practice! Find pricing, registration links, and FAQs below!

  • Dues for team will be $59+tax/month on top of your current membership fees.

For example: if you currently pay $89+tax/month, your dues will become $148+tax/month. When you register for a team, you will be paying and reserving your spot for February (paying full dues because teams start the first week of the month). We will send follow-up information to prepaid members on how they will pay for March onwards.

  • Generally, leaving Team will open your spot for others, however, we may hold your spot on team for extenuating circumstances. Decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis. Please email liesl@ghclimbing.com if you have questions or need to take a break.

  • If teams are full when you try to register, you can add yourself to a waitlist by emailing liesl@ghclimbing.com.

Please disclose if you are looking to be on waitlist for Wednesday Team, Saturday Team, or both.

  • If you’re mainly looking for belay partners rather than structured training, there are a few routes to do so!

You can connect with others through our cork board and belay buddy tags located at the front desk. We also run belay buddy socials that we plan to host more frequently now that winter is here (find our events schedule here). For those who want to get a feel for coached climbing before signing up for a team, or feel they could benefit from individual training, we also have Private Instruction. To learn more about privates, please visit the webpage here.

  • There is no "end date" for the Adult Team. You can stay on the team for as long/short as you would like. You would just need to email us by the 1st of the month you would like it to cancel (so that you are not accidentally billed).
