Looking for a fun and active way to fulfill your homeschooler’s PE requirement? Join our Homeschool Club! Designed specifically for homeschool students, this dynamic program combines physical activity, problem-solving, and confidence-building through the sport of rock climbing.

Each weekly 1.5-hour session includes professional instruction, climbing games, movement-focused activities, and themed skill progression in a supportive, social environment. Whether your child is new to climbing or already scaling walls, they'll move their bodies, challenge their minds, and build friendships—all while earning PE credit!

 FAQs

  • Nope! Whether they're stepping into the gym for the first time, or have been climbing for years, we are happy to welcome them to the group. Our coaches will meet them where they’re at. Rental equipment (shoes, chalk, harness) are included with monthly dues.

  • Comfy, athletic clothing and a water bottle. Feel free to bring a non-refrigerated snack for mid-session fuel!

  • Each session will be capped at 12 participants—so sign up early! If the program is full, you will be added to a waitlist.

    We maintain intentionally low climber-to-coach ratios across all levels of our youth climbing programs. This ensures that every child receives individualized attention, timely feedback, and consistent support throughout their practice.

    Smaller group sizes allow coaches to better understand each climber’s unique strengths, challenges, and goals—leading to more effective development and a stronger sense of connection within the club.

  • We understand that drop-off and pick-up becomes a job in and of itself with multiple children. Please send an email to info@ghclimbing.com if you would be unable/unwilling to have your children in different sessions. We will grant exceptions where possible, but cannot guarantee one will be made.

  • Yes! We offer a family discount for households with multiple climbers enrolled in any of our youth programs:

    • 10% off each climbers fee when 2 siblings are enrolled

    • 20% off each climber’s fee when 3+ siblings are enrolled

  • Yes, the price does include a Greater Heights membership! This means your climber is able to come into the gym whenever they’d like outside of club practices.

  • Yes, we have spaces available for people to sit and watch or work remotely. If you (or other family members) plan on staying for practice, you must have a waiver on file. You can fill out the waiver here or on an iPad at the gym.

  • We will make decisions on a case-by-case basis about age exceptions. Please email info@ghclimbing.com if you are interested.

  • Upon registering, you will be prompted to answer a series of questions regarding your child’s potential behavioral challenges, allergens, and health issues. There will also be a box to free write anything else you feel is important for us to know. This information will only be shared with staff directly involved with Homeschool Club (coaches and management).
